Vancouver to Highway 1

Travel east on the freeway (Highway 1) towards Hope through the Fraser Valley (for about 1 hour 20 minutes from
the Port Mann bridge).

Seattle to Highway 1

Travel north on Interstate 5 to Bellingham.

Turn east off the freeway at Highway 542. At Lawrence go north on Highway 9, through Nooksack to Sumas and the Canadian border. Once across the border you will be on highway 11 for a very short distance (past Costco and other large stores).

Be in the right lane in order to enter the freeway (Highway 1) going eastbound towards Hope.

Highway 1 to the Eco Retreat

At Hope, there is no need to exit as Highway 1 freeway changes into the Coquihalla Freeway (Highway 5).

Proceed on Highway 5, past two more exits (about 7 minutes). Take exit 183, Othello Road/Kawkawa Lake. The exit will take you under the freeway to a stop sign at Othello Road.

Turn left onto Othello Road and proceed west until a fork in the road is reached (about 4 minutes). Take the left fork onto Tunnels Road.

Proceed until just before Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park, which is the end of the road.

The Eco Retreat entrance is on the left. You will have a keypad code prior to arrival to open the gate.
